Nathan Mills began studying Yoga at the age of 12 while working at a retreat center for the Yogic and healing arts in the mountains of Montana. Simultaneously he began his study of the Martial Arts under the patient instruction of Shihan Dennis Dallas.
Born handicapped with a leg discrepancy of over 3 inches Nathan approached these practices patiently and thoughtfully. Nathan meticulously found ways to modify these practices to suit his body. After several surgeries he found the amazing changes in his mind and body from both yogic and martial arts practices.
He later lived at the expanding light center in Northern California where he was inspired by the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda.
Nathan moved to Los Angeles, where he had the esteemed privilege of living and studying with Kancho Cameron Shayne<, founder of Budokon®, and helped him build the Budokon organization. Nathan was given the honor of being one of the first teachers ever certified to teach Budokon public classes.
One of the highest ranking teachers in the Budokon organization and a Certified Yoga Instructor, Nathan continues to explore, evolve, and deepen his practice while teaching these life changing art forms.
